| Darkling Swamp is located far to the southeast of Necromium city, east of Varanno.

| Description:

| The once peaceful and ancient swamp is now beset with a uneasy sense of disquiet. Armed hobgoblins wander the swamp, imported for whatever foul purpose by their goblin cousins, there are rumours of a goblin community beneath the muddy swamp and that they, in fact, do not get along well with their hobgoblin brethren. Darker rumours also abound, about an upheaval in the goblin community and about black deeds and blacker arts being practiced within the bog. Magic forces seem to swirl in the air say travelers who pass by the murky swamp, not daring to enter, not for fear of losing their lives, but something much much worse...
