Wisdom

Wisdom measures a character's judgement and their ability to fully
understand the meaning and consequences of their actions.  High
wisdom grants increased resistances as the character is able to
avoid or minimize harmful effects.  Each point of wisdom increases
resistance to magic by two points and resistance to poison and
petrification by one point.
